Whipped feta has been everywhere lately, so I created a quick vegan version to satisfy the craving. This creamy dip takes about 10 minutes to make and is perfect for parties, casual gatherings, or a cozy snack at home.
We love dips, and this one is delightfully simple. I added white beans for extra creaminess and a protein boost, but you can keep it strictly tofu- or vegan-feta-based if you prefer. The texture is smooth and spreadable — ideal with crackers, toasted bread, or raw vegetables.
Follow the recipe as written or adapt it to your taste. For more heat and tang, stir in pickled jalapeños. Fresh herbs, roasted garlic, or toasted seeds also work well. This base is forgiving and versatile, so feel free to experiment.
Customizing your vegan whipped feta
I topped my whipped feta with crispy vegan bacon for a smoky finish, and added thinly sliced chioggia and yellow beets for sweetness and crunch. These toppings are optional — you can choose fresh basil, chopped parsley, or a drizzle of chili oil instead.
Try swapping the gochujang for a small cooked beet to make a pink, earthy version. Toasted sesame or pumpkin seeds add texture, while lemon zest brightens the flavor. This dip is a great canvas for bold or subtle additions — make it yours.
I hope you enjoy this dip—let me know what variations you try. If you want another comforting recipe while you wait, try the warming lentil coconut soup on my site for a hearty, cozy meal.
