Spring Capsule Wardrobe: Slim Cute Pants from Stein Mart

A wardrobe essential for a Spring Capsule Wardrobe is a reliable pair of white pants. These Premise Slim Cute Pants from Stein Mart are one of my favorites.

Spring Capsule Wardrobe Basics!

Last week I shared my Spring Capsule Wardrobe jeans. This week and next I’ll highlight the final two bottoms in my spring capsule. For now I don’t have any skirts — I work mostly from home and often get chilly in restaurants, so skirts aren’t a frequent choice. I may add one if I find one I love, but at the moment I’m happy with the five bottoms I’ve chosen.

Spring Capsule Wardrobe Essentials – White Pants

While I wear jeans almost every day, sometimes I want a change. When I found these Premise white pants at Stein Mart, I knew they’d be a great fit for my capsule. I originally included them in last year’s summer wardrobe, and they are still in excellent condition. They have a slim cut that’s comfortable rather than tight and feature cute zippers at the ankles. I’m keeping an eye out for a second pair — it’s handy to have a backup in case one gets stained.

Next week I’ll feature the last pair of pants for my capsule wardrobe. After that I’ll move on to tops, and then start putting together full outfits. My approach is loosely inspired by the French Minimalist Capsule Wardrobe from Classy Yet Trendy.

Some other white pants I think would work well include Eileen Fisher wide-leg pants, Everlane wide-leg cropped pants, and Elie Tahari slim-leg pants.
